Strategic Initiatives has been a thought leader in organizational transformation for over a decade. In the 1990s, Donald Norris co-authored the so-called “Transformation Trilogy” for the Society for College and University Planning. Starting with “Transforming Higher Education: A Vision for Learning in the 21st Century,” this series included “Revolutionary Strategy for the Knowledge Age,” and “Unleashing the Power of Perpetual Learning.” These works have significantly shaped change in higher education. The latest in the series is “A Guide to Planning for Change” recently published by the Society for College and University Planners (SCUP). This publication contains a full chapter on “The Politics of Planning for Change.” Please download a preview by clicking on the icon below. You can order your copies from SCUP by clicking here.
Our thought leaders on Leadership for Change include Donald Norris, Samuel Kirkpatrick, Sherry Gevedon, Rhea Blanken, Ann Oliveri, Charles Lattimer, Ruth Johnson, Allison Vallincourt, and Suzanne Forsyth. Our record of thought leadership has continued with a series of presentations and publications to this day, including the following publications: Donald M. Norris, Samuel Kirkpatrick, and Linda Baer, “Leveraging Technology Through Comprehensive Change Management,” Campus of the Future Conference, 2006.
