Summary of Professional expertise and Accomplishments

Paula Morais, MS is a Planning Associate with Strategic Initiatives who serves as our “on-the-ground” staff for projects in the UAE. She is also a Member of the Board of BTC Partners FZE, in the
United Arab Emirates. Ms. Morais has worked on a number of strategic planning projects and has
collaborated with Drs. Norris and Lefrere in their work on Competence 2.0. She has been recognized for her work in the definition of Profiles in ICT for Teachers, the use of ICT in Education.

Ms. Morais has worked with the European Commission, Ministries of Education, and Universities in Europe, Africa and Latin America. She has also been involved in the implementation of EFQM (European Foundation Quality Management) and CAF (Common Assessment Framework) in the modernization of Public Administration, Universities and Training Schools. Her work in the development of Entrepreneurial Attitudes in Education and with people with special needs has been considered a Best Practice at European Level and is currently being implemented with UK Civil servants, in schools in Romania, Finland, Spain, and other settings.
