To be successful in the context of Knowledge Age environment, organizations must examine and realign their cultures. This includes reshaping values, behaviors, processes and workflows, products, structures, relationships and cultures to the new demands of the marketplace. Orchestrating cultural change is one of Strategic Initiatives’ fundamental practices. For over fifteen years we have been leading enterprises through processes that enable, individuals, teams, and departments to understand, experience, and practice the new behaviors necessary to thrive in changing conditions. Then to spread thpose behaviors across the enterprise. Most recently, we have been working with organizations to create cultures of performance measurement and improvement. These are critical to achieving the accountability and performance standards for 21st century colleges abnd universities, commercial organizations, and other enterprises. Strategic Initiatives builds staff/organizational capacity and changes organizational culture in the context of real expeditionary initiatives, with clearly defined performance targets. Changing culture takes time. In order to overcome the inertia of old habits, cultural change must be nourished by the powerful promise of enhanced performance, reduced costs, financial sustainability, and greater competitive advantage.
